Kaputaş Beach: The Turquoise Cove Between Kaş and Kalkan

By the Yazlikya team, Kalkan

Kaputaş Beach is a small cove tucked between two steep cliffs, right beside the D400 highway between Kaş and Kalkan. With its turquoise water and fine pebble sand, it is one of Turkey's most photographed beaches. For parking, the dolmuş and the best times to visit, see our detailed Kaputaş Beach guide.

Where is Kaputaş and how to get there?

The cove is about 7 km from Kalkan and 20 km from Kaş. After parking by the road, you descend a staircase of roughly 190 steps. Don't rush the climb back up — the view is worth it.
