Lycian Way Guide: Best Stages Around Kaş & Kalkan

By the Yazlikya team, Kalkan

The Lycian Way is a waymarked long-distance trail of about 540 kilometres, running from Ovacık near Fethiye all the way to Antalya. Created in 1999 and marked by British explorer Kate Clow, it is regularly ranked among the world's most beautiful walking routes.

Where does the Lycian Way go?

The route follows the coast and mountains of ancient Lycia, passing coves, ancient cities, pine forests and fishing villages. Walking it end to end takes 25–30 days, but most people tackle it in day-long or multi-day stages.
